Don Boutin is a self taught artist and has worked in various mediums including oil, acrylic and casein. His work can be found in many area restaurants and golf courses. When Don is not painting you may find him on the golf course or in the mountains looking for signs of the Rip Van Winkle legend.
Don spent two years as an apprentice at Sotheby's restoring antiques and painting one of a kind treasures. He is a master at furniture painting and utilizing faux finishes, marbleizing and trompe l'oeil techniques. Don Boutin a Rhode Island native, has resided in New York's Catskill Mountains since 1983.
